Nang Rong District

Amphoe Nang Rong ( Thai: อำเภอ นางรอง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Buriram Province. The Buriram province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are ( from northeast clockwise): Amphoe the Chamni, Mueang Buriram, Prakhon Chai, Phra Kiat Chaloem, Lahan Sai, Pakham, Non Suwan and Nong Ki. All Amphoe located in the province of Buriram.

Management

The district of Nang Rong is divided into 15 subdistricts (tambon ), divide further into 204 villages ( Muban ).

Nang Rong ( Thai: เทศบาล เมือง นางรอง ) is a city ( Mueang thesaban ) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Nang Rong and Thanon Hak. Thung Saeng Thong ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ทุ่ง แสงทอง ) is a small town ( thesaban tambon), it consists of the whole Tambon Thung Saeng Thong.

There are also 14 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).

Note: The missing geocodes are among the Tambon, from which today Amphoe Non Suwan and Amphoe Chamni exist while others Tambon are today parts of Amphoe Phra Kiat Chaloem.
