Peugeot 301 (2012)

The Peugeot 301 is a sedan on the platform of the Peugeot 208 The official launch took place at the Paris Auto Salon in September 2012., The model will be produced in the PSA Peugeot -Citroën factory in Vigo, Spain.

This vehicle is the beginning of a new categorization of Peugeot models. During the first digit refers to the segment (in this case 3 for compact class), the last digit is 1 for sale in the " Einstiegssegement ". Peugeot would thus conquer or hold markets, especially in emerging markets. Citroen C- Elysée

As an identical model of the Peugeot 301 is offered by the subsidiary as Citroën Citroën C- Elysée in Turkey, Macedonia, Romania, Greece, Czech Republic, Poland and Algeria. From 2014, he is to be built in China as the successor to the Citroën Elysée by Dongfeng Peugeot -Citroën Automobile.
