Rune Bratsveen

Rune Bratsveen (also rune Brattsveen ) (born 5 April 1984) is a Norwegian biathlete.

Rune Bratsveen occurred between 2002 and 2005 for four consecutive years in Junior Biathlon World Championships at. Especially well it ran for the Norwegians in 2003 Kościelisko, as in the singles, in the sprint and pursuit were each fifth and the season he finished fourth. The best result in a single race, he reached one year later than fourth in the pursuit of Haute Maurienne. His first season at senior level he ran in 2006/ 07 in the European Cup, but failed to match outstanding results. At the start of the following season 2007/ 08 Bratsveen could first start in the Biathlon World Cup. He also missed the 20 -km individual race in 40th World Cup points yet, he could run in the ninth sprint in just his second race in the top ten. In the subsequent pursuit competition he was ranked 5th In the Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Östersund Bratsveen could qualify in a strong Norwegian team for four races. The Norwegian was 38th in the sprint and won for the first time in this form of competition not score points. In the pursuit he was able to improve on 15th place. In the mass start, he finished in eleventh place, with the Norwegian Relay Bratsveen won the silver medal behind the strong Russians. Was successful for Rune Bratsveen participation in the European Championships in 2009 in the Russian Ufa He won gold in the sprint and with the Norwegian season, in the pursuit race he won bronze.
