Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national rugby union team

The rugby union team from St. Vincent and the Grenadines represented the Caribbean island country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Rugby Union. The team is classified as a national of the third category by the International Rugby Board (IRB ).

History

After the association was founded in 1998 the national team participated for the first time in 2005 on the operation of gambling. The first international match was also a qualifier for the Rugby Union World Cup in 2007. St. Vincent and the Grenadines lost the game with 25:36 against the selection of St. Lucia. In qualifying for the Rugby Union World Cup in 2011, there was the highest-ever defeat for the team with 7:47 to Mexico.
