Sébastien Lareau

Sébastien Lareau (born 27 April 1973 in Montreal ) is a Canadian former tennis player.

Career

Lareau won 17 doubles titles in his career. His greatest success was the victory at the U.S. Open and the 1999 World Cup double with partner Alex O'Brien and winning the Olympic gold medal with compatriot Daniel Nestor in Sydney in 2000. In addition, he succeeded in 15 other tournaments to reach the finals, including the Australian Open twice and once the double World Cup.

His highest placing in the individual rankings of the tennis world ranking he reached rank 76 in April 1995, in a double he was in October 1999, the number 4 in the world.

He ended his career on the ATP Tour in 2001.
