Stambach

Stambach with 624 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) is a municipality in the district court Fürstenfeld and in the political district of Hartberg in Styria Fürstenfeld in Austria. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the community Graf bei Hartberg, the new community will continue to use the name " Count bei Hartberg ".

Geography

Geographical Location

The community is located about five kilometers north of the district capital Hartberg, on the eastern slope of the mountain Masen and west of Earl village, at an altitude around 600 meters.

Community structure

The municipality comprises the three villages (in brackets population as of 31 October 2011):

  • Pongratzen (202 )
  • Stambach (276 )
  • Zeiler quarter ( 154)

The municipality comprises the cadastral Stambach. The community area is 20.48 km ².

  • 9 councilors: 6 ÖVP, SPÖ 1 and 2 FPÖ

Coat of arms

The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 July 1992. Blazon (Coat of Arms description): " In a red shield golden one slumped sword with the handle a deciduous crown by thrusting, pole point between two rails on which clings ever an inturned tit and stand between two schrägeinwärts cut growing in the sign posts. "
