Tarik Hodžić

Tarık Hodžić ( born December 1, 1951 in Sarajevo ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

He began in the youth team of FK Željezničar Sarajevo. In 1970, he signed his first contract as a professional there. However, Tarik was awarded to Famos Hrasnica. He played there for three years. After with 28 goals, he was top scorer in the 2nd League of Yugoslavia in 1973, he returned to FK Željezničar. There Tarık played two more years.

From then on he played for Olimpija Ljubljana. After that, the striker moved to Belgium to RFC Liège, where he was top scorer. Tarik Hodžić pulled it on, this time he went to Galatasaray. In the Turkish Süper Lig, he was top scorer with 16 goals in the 1983/84 season. After four years of stay at Galatasaray Hodžić moved in 1984 to Sariyer SK and finished his career there in 1986.

Now he lives in Sarajevo and is owner of a restaurant ( Sur Galatasaray ). 1997 trained Hodžić FK Željezničar for some games.
