Thérèse Steinmetz

Thérèse Steinmetz ( born May 17, 1933, Amsterdam) is a Dutch pop singer and painter.

After studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, she was active as a singer and actress. In 1966, they even had their own little TV show called Thérèse. She joined the Dutch preselection for the Grand Prix de la Chanson in 1967 alone with six titles. Through a post card choice, the audience for pop ring - ding things decided. At the competition in Vienna the title then landed on a 14th place.

In 1970 she won the International Song Festival Cerbul de Aur in Braşov, Romania.

She remained active as a singer until the mid- 1980s, after which it was active in the field of painting. It operates the place of their residence Cannes, where she has lived since 1981.
