Borgorose
Borgorose is a municipality in the province of Rieti in the Italian region Lazio, 4667 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 95 km northeast of Rome and 45 kilometers east of Rieti.
Geography
Borgorose is located in the upper valley of the Salto, the so-called Cicolano. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Salto Cicolano.
The districts are Cartore, Castelmenardo, Collefegato, Colle Maggiore, Colleviati, Collorso, Corvaro, grottos, Pagliara, Poggiovalle, Ponte Civitella, Santa Anatolia, Santo Stefano, Spedino, Torano and Ville Rose, Villette.

Borgorose Located 4 km from the Valle del Salto exit of the A24 motorway Autostrada dei Parchi from Rome after Teramo.
History
The area of Borgo Rose was inhabited in pre-Roman times by the Aequi. In the 4th century, the area was conquered by the Romans.

Policy
Michele Pasquale Nicolai ( PdL ) was elected in May 2003 to the Mayor and confirmed in April 2008 in the Official. His right Citizens' List also with 11 of 16 seats, the majority in the City Council.
Attractions
- On the Rocca di Corvaro the antipope Nicholas V was born. The fortress in the district Corvaro from the 10th century is now in ruins.
- From Castello di Torano still stands a tower.
