Marcetelli
Marcetelli is a municipality with a population of 82 (as at 31 December 2012) in the province of Rieti in the Italian region of Lazio.
Geography
Marcetelli is located 91 km northeast of Rome, 40 km southeast of Rieti, and 67 km southwest of L' Aquila. It is above the Salto reservoir surrounded by the mountains of Abruzzo Reatinischen in the valley of the Salto. The municipal area extends from Salto Reservoir to the Monti Carseolani over a height difference of 535-1160 m slm Marcetelli is a member of the Comunità Montana Salto Cicolano.
The municipality is located in the seismic zone 2 (medium endangered).
The neighboring municipalities are Ascrea, Collalto Sabino, Collegiove, Paganico Sabino, Pescorocchiano and Varco Sabino.
Traffic
Marcetelli is 48 km from the state road strada 4 Via Salaria (SS 4), which leads from Rome about Rieti to the Adriatic Coast.
