1959 South American Championship (Ecuador)

The Campeonato Sudamericano 1959 was the 27th edition of the South American continental championship in football and was held from December 5 to 25 for the second time in Ecuador instead. For the first and only time in history a second competition was held in the same year by the discharged in Argentina in March Copa. Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela did not participate.
