2005–06 Danish Superliga

The 2005/06 season was the 16th season of the Danish Superliga, which was held by the Danish Football Association ( Dansk Boldspil - Union). The first game took place on 19 July 2005 and the last on 14 May 2006.

The new climbers this season were the Sønderjysk Elite Sports and AC Horsens.

After the season

FC København was able to qualify as a Danish master for the UEFA Champions League 2006/ 07 and the Royal League 2006/ 07. The Brøndby IF qualified as runner-up for the UEFA Cup in 2006/ 07 and for the Royal League. Odense BK managed to participate in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2006 and in the Royal League. The Viborg FF was qualified for the Royal League.

The Sønderjysk Elite Sport ( who had only ascended ) and Aarhus GF descend into the Viasat Sport Division.
