2006 WNBA draft
The tenth WNBA Draft took place on 5th April 2006 at Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, United States instead. The selection order is set in a lottery.
But before the tenth WNBA Draft was conducted, an expansion draft for the Chicago Sky took place on 16 November 2005. This was the first expansion draft since the 2000 season as the Miami Sol, Portland Fire, Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm joined the league.
