Alegria (Cebu)

Alegria is a Philippine municipality in the province of Cebu.

Geography

Alegria is located in the southwest of the island of Cebu on the coast of the Tanon Strait, the distance to Cebu City is approximately 117 km. In the north, bordering the municipality of Badian, on the east by the municipalities of Dalaguete, Alcoy and Boljoon. In the south Malabuyoc borders on Alegria. The climate is characterized by two distinct seasons, a short one -to two- month dry season and a rainy season and thus part of the climate type III according to the Corona system of the Philippine climate classification.
