Alexei Aidarov

Oleksiy Ajdarow (Ukrainian Олексій Айдаров; belarusian Аляксей Айдараў / Aljaxej Ajdarau; Russian Алексей Петрович Айдаров / Alexei Petrovich Aidarow; * November 15, 1974 in Sverdlovsk ) is a born in the Russian SSR biathlete who was initially active in Belarus and is currently the Ukraine starts.

Oleksiy is Ajdarow Sports soldier and lives in Minsk. He runs the sport of biathlon since 1984 and is effective for Dinamo Minsk Biatlon to. Making his first appearance at the Biathlon World Cup, he had starting for Belarus in 1994 at a single in Bad Gastein, where he immediately became 12. Quite soon he was able to establish in the World Cup and worked his way further into the world top before. 1996 in Östersund, he came in eighth in the individual for the first time among the top 10. His first World Cup victory he celebrated 1997 at a persecution in Lillehammer, where he started from tenth place out. The following season he won a World Cup again, this time a sprint in Ruhpolding. Ajdarows best seasons were 1997/98 and 1998/99, where he was in the World Cup 13 and 12.

Apart from 2005, he took 1995 to 2007 at all biathlon world championships. Despite good placements as a fifth place in 2000 at the Holmenkollen in individual or an eighth place in the sprint and a seventh place in the pursuit of the title fights Kontiolahti 1999, he could never win an individual World Championship medal. In Kontiolahti but he became world champion in the relay, he won silver in 2001 in Pokljuka and 1996 in Ruhpolding and 2003 in Khanty-Mansiysk Bronze, always with the Belarussian season. In the Biathlon World Championships 2007 in Antholz he first came to the Ukraine and reached the squadron one eighth.

Twice launched Ajdarow at the Olympic Games. In Nagano in 1998, he won bronze in singles and missed the season in fourth place another medal just barely. Four years later in Salt Lake City were his best rankings in Single ( 17 ) and the season ( 8 ).
