The collective municipality is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. The community association membership of 43 independent local communities, the administrative headquarters are in the eponymous collective municipality.

History

The municipality was created with the " 8 State law on administrative simplification in the land of Rhineland -Palatinate " on November 7, 1970 from the merger of the former offices Daleiden - Leidenborn and Waxweiler of the former district of Prüm.
