Euscheid
Euscheid is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. She is a member of the collective municipality.
Geography
Euscheid is located about five kilometers northeast of Arzfeld on a southwest to northeast to Kelsbach, a tributary of the Prüm, sloping grounds. The village comprises altitudes between 465 m above sea level. Sea level and 490 m above sea level. NN, south-west, the grandson mountain rises (503 m above sea level. NN ). History
A Celtic grave mounds and Roman Age finds point to an already early settlement of the district. The emergence of location can by the name ending - distinguishable on the 12th/13th. Century are suspected. The first documentary mention is detected from the year 1489. Euscheid belonged to the end of the 18th century condominium Pronsfeld. During the French occupation the end of the 18th, beginning of the 19th century the village belonged to the forest department. After the end of the occupation Euscheid was 1815 or 1822 allocated under Prussian rule the circle Prüm and the mayor Lünebach later Amtsbürgermeisterei Waxweiler. In the course of the district reform in Rhineland-Palatinate 1970, the place came to the collective municipality.

In Euscheid there a sports club with the name FCM lawn planing Euscheid. It is purely a recreational team that denies their games on a number of sports events in the area. The team trained on the sports field of Euscheid where they held the second weekend once a year in August, a sports festival.
