Niederpierscheid

Niederpierscheid is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. She is a member of the collective municipality.

History

Niederpierscheid originated during the medieval clearing phase. The first mention of the place in 1505 is as Nyderpirscheid. It belonged to the Luxembourg rule New Castle and in the Prussian era to the first mayor Ringhuscheid and later for mayor Waxweiler.
