Eilscheid

Eilscheid is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. She is a member of the collective municipality.

Location and economic

History

By the end of the 18th century the village belonged to the condominium Pronsfeld, which was under the joint sovereignty of the Electorate of Trier and the Duchy of Luxembourg. After the annexation of the region by French revolutionary troops Eilscheid 1795 was assigned to the Canton Arzfeld in the department of forests.
