Athletics at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's 800 metres
The 800 -meter run of the men at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing was held from 20 to 23 August 2008 at the Beijing National Stadium. 58 athletes took part.
There were eight heats. The two first and the fastest eight athletes qualified for the semifinals here. The semi-final was played in three runs, in which the two best runners as well as the two fastest qualified for the finals.
The directly qualified runners are light blue, highlighted the over time qualified athletes bright green.
