Stanguellini was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles and racing cars from Modena.

Business development

Francesco Stanguellini (* 1879, † December 22, 1932 ) operating from 1908 the representation of Fiat in Modena. Besides, he went car racing S.C.A.T. and Ceirano. His son Vittorio Stanguellini (* March 24, 1910; † 4 December 1981) took over the operation in 1932. He began in 1937 with the tune of Fiat for car racing. 1938, the first car was under his name, the Stanguellini 750 Sport Internazionale. Like many of his successors, the model was mostly, rarely offered as an open roadster as a closed coupe. In particular, in the 1950s, the company was very successful in motor racing. In 1965, the production was abandoned. 1971 still produced some prototypes. The Fiat - representation still exists today.

Museum

The Stanguellini family operates in the building of its Fiat - representation in Modena a small museum. On display is, among others, a Fiat Zero, which has been family owned for almost 100 years, ten vehicles Stanguellini, 15 other mainly sports cars, trophies and tools.
