Breme

Breme is an Italian municipality with 847 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy, about 60 km southwest of Milan and 40 km west of Pavia.

History

In 906 Adalbert founded the Rich, Margrave of Ivrea, the Abbey of San Pietro, which was one of the most important Benedictine monasteries in northern Italy.
