Céligny is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland. Céligny forms an exclave of the Canton of Geneva in the canton of Vaud on the right bank of Lake Geneva.

Personalities

The current as a pioneer of political journalism Jacques Mallet du Pan was born in 1749 as the son of a clergyman in Céligny. The Italian engineer, economist and sociologist Vilfredo Pareto lived from 1901 until his death in 1923 in Celigny, as well as the Welsh actor Richard Burton, who is also buried at the local cemetery.
