Collex-Bossy

Collex -Bossy is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.

The municipality includes the villages Collex Bossy and located on the right bank of Versoix on the border with France.

History

Like most communities Geneva was Collex -Bossy 1536-1567 under Bernese rule and was reformed. Then came the church to Savoy, and in 1601 to France. 1815 France Collex-Bossy ceded to Geneva.

From 1790 to 1855 the town was also known as Bellevue, which subsequently became a separate municipality.
