Dittersdorf
Dittersdorf is a municipality in the Thuringian Saale- Orla-Kreis and part of the joint management of lakes.

Geography
The village is situated on the eastern edge of the field of Plothener ponds. Through the town, the country's roads in 1077 L of lead Schleiz to Neustadt Orla and L 2349 of Tegau after Plothen. West of or in the district of the village passes the Federal Highway 9. North of the village close to a forest area in the district. The places Dittersdorf and Dragensdorf lie on a slightly elevated plateau of the south-eastern Thuringian Slate Mountains.
Geology
Geologically, there are the districts of the villages in South East Thuringian Slate Mountains. These soils are very fertile due to the high proportion of fine soil and the high humus content.
History
Dittersdorf was registered for the first time in a document on December 5, 1297 and Dragensdorf 1274-1283.
1923 managed the tenant Constantin evil the domain of Prince Reuss Younger Line with a business area of 192 ha After the Second World War the estate was expropriated and distributed to farmers and resettled. On 1 December 2010 the then independent municipality Dragensdorf was incorporated into Dittersdorf.
On 31 December 2013, until then independent municipality Chursdorf was amalgamated with the hamlets of Sorna and Waldhäuser by Dittersdorf.

Neighboring municipalities are: Pörmitz, Pahnstangen, Plothen, Moßbach and Tömmelsdorf.
Economy
The economy was and is dominated by agriculture. In addition, the district Dittersdorf has an industrial park with an area of 7.32 ha Significant resident companies of the municipality are:

Traffic
The community has its own junction of the Federal Highway 9
Since 2013, the district Dittersdorf has a bypass road. About the built with this construction project " Cow traffic " was nationwide coverage.
