Extended Versions is the twenty-second album, or the seventh live album by Ringo Starr after the breakup of the Beatles. It was published on 1 June 2003 in the U.S.. In Germany and the UK, the album did not appear. It could not place in the charts in the U.S..

Genesis

After the appearance of the last live album The Anthology ... So Far in February 2001, went to Ringo Starr from July 26 to September 2, 2001, a U.S. tour and gave to the Seventh All- Starr Band 29 concerts.

On 22 August 2001, the concert at the Rosemont Theatre was recorded in Chicago and parts of the concert released on CD by King Biscuit under the title King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Ringo & His New All- Starr Band in August 2002. Again, a year later, in June 2003, version published another five, previously unreleased songs from the recordings of this concert under the title company BMG Extended, so that a total of 21 of the 26 songs of the concert on the two CDs are available.

Extended Versions is not an individual of the album title, but the name of a series of CDs with various artists published by BMG. After the album's release the record deal in the U.S. was discontinued with BMG, since it was merely a publication within the Extended Versions series.

Five of the ten songs on the CD were sung by Ringo Starr.

The designer of the cover is David K. Kessler. The cover photo was taken by Paul Natkin.
