Choose Love is the twenty-fourth album, or the fourteenth studio album by Ringo Starr after the breakup of the Beatles. It was on 25 July 2005 in Europe (USA 7 June 2005) published. In the U.S., the UK and Germany could not place in the charts themselves.

Genesis

After the release of his studio album Ringo Rama Ringo Starr in March 2003, the musical concept decided to continue. It is the fourth studio album, Mark Hudson and Ringo Starr -produced together. The vast composition work was carried out again by Ringo Starr, Mark Hudson, Steve Dudas, Gary Burr and Dean Grakal.

Oh My Lord is a musical response to the song My Sweet Lord by George Harrison. The recording time for the album are not documented, they extended probably over the years 2004 to 2005. During the years 2004 and 2005 Ringo Starr was not with the All- Starr Band on tour. The Dave Way at Way Station Studios finally the blending of the songs took place.

Overall, the album seems less rock- oriented than the previous albums.

Choose Love was the fourth album by Ringo Starr which was released by Koch Records. The designer of the cover was Tyrone Drake. The cover photos were from Barbara Bach.

U.S. deluxe version

In the U.S., a DualDisc was released from the album, in which on the CD side the regular album is heard.
