Flag of Pakistan

The flag of Pakistan was designed by Ameer -ud -Din Khidwai and adopted by the country gained independence on 14 August 1947 as a national flag.

The green field of the flag symbolizes the Muslims, who make up the majority of the population in Pakistan. The white field stands for the non-Muslim minority in the country and was made only shortly before independence.
