Jakub VoráÄek
Jakub Voráček ( born August 15, 1989 in Slany, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech ice hockey player standing since June 2011 the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League contract.

Career
Jakub Voráček began his career in the youth teams of HC Kladno, which is known for its good youth work and already NHL - leading players such as Jaromir Jagr, Patrik Elias and Tomáš Kaberle has produced. At 15, he was already playing in Kladno U18 team, outperforming team-mates and opponents, who were up to three years older. In the season 2004/ 05 Voráček reached more than one template per game and was appointed to the U16 national team. A short time later was appointed to the Under-17 team and was the youngest participant at the Under-17 " Four Nations " tournament. In the following season, he was then placed in the U20 team of HC Kladno, scoring 21 goals and 38 assists 46 games the U20 Extraliga. He also made his debut for the men's team of HC Kladno in the Czech Extraliga.
In the summer of 2006 Voráček was selected first during the CHL Import Draft by the Halifax Mooseheads. A short time later he decided to move to North America and plays a lot since then successfully in the QMJHL. Both in the season 2006/ 07 and 2007 /08 he was top scorer of his team and won several personal awards from the league. In 2007 he also participated in the CHL Top Prospects Game, where he scored a goal. Based on these achievements and his previous appearances in international tournaments he was selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 2007 by the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL in the first round to seventh place overall ( drafted ).
In the summer of 2008 Voráček made the jump to the NHL squad the Blue Jackets, scoring on 10 October 2008 his first NHL goal in his first NHL game. On June 23, 2011 Voráček was transferred together with a first-and third-round choice right in the NHL Entry Draft in 2011 to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Blue Jackets were given in exchange for Jeff Carter.
Due to the NHL lockout played Voráček between late September and December 2012 for the HC Lev Prague in the Kontinental Hockey League.
Internationally
Jakub Voráček has participated in four international championships at junior level: For the U18 and U20 national team, he participated in the U18 World Cup in 2006 and 2007, as well as the U20 World Cup in 2007 and 2008 in part.
2010 debuted Voráček in the men's national team and participated with this hockey at the Euro Tour 2009/10. In addition, he was appointed to the squad for the 2010 World Cup, when he scored two assists in nine games and won the gold medal.
