Kenneth Braaten

Kenneth Braaten (* September 24 1974 in Mo i Rana ) is a former Norwegian Nordic skier.

Braaten made ​​his international debut at the Junior World Championships in 1994 in Breitenwang. There he won the gold medal in the team. As of 1995, Braaten started in Nordic Combined World Cup. On January 13, 1998, he won his first and only World Cup race in Ramsau in the sprint. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano he won Bjarte Engen Vik together with Fred Børre Lundberg and Halldor Skard in team competition gold medal. In the 1998/99 season Braaten reached several podiums and finished in sixth place in the overall World Cup season at the end. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1999 in Ramsau, he won the team competition Trond Einar Elden, together with Fred Børre Bjarte Engen Vik Lundberg and the silver medal. In the sprint, he came to seventh place, in Gundersen to fifth place.
