Hermann Weinbuch

Hermann Wine Book ( born March 22, 1960 in Berchtesgaden ) is a former German nordic combined and since 1996 senior national coach of the Nordic Combined in the German Ski Association ( DSV).

His greatest success as an active athlete was winning the world title in the Nordic combined at the 1985 Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld in Tirol, because he had already started early to train the Siitonen step. He also won at this World Cup with the team. Two years later at the World Cup in Germany, he could again win bronze and defend with the team the title.

In the 1985/86 season he was the winner of the overall World Cup Nordic Combined. In 1987 he was awarded the Holmenkollen medal. His father Helmut wine book was a functionary in the DSV and the Fédération Internationale de Ski (FIS ).
