Landiras

Landiras is a commune with 2129 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. The inhabitants call themselves Landiranais.

The municipality is located in Hautelande girondine, a part of the largest western European heath area Landes de Gascogne. 50 of the nearly 60 square kilometers of the municipal area is wooded. Approximately 300 hectares of vineyards. The vines are part of the Graves wine region in the Bordeaux region.
