Podensac
Podensac is a commune with 2731 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Gironde department in the region of Aquitaine. It is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of the same name.
Geography
The municipality is situated on the left bank of the Garonne River, about 15 kilometers northwest of Langon.
Infrastructure
The station Podensac located on the Bordeaux - Sète railway SNCF. National Rail TER trains.
A road connection to Autoroute A62.
The department D1113 road goes through the village. From her the D11 turns off.
