Letojanni
Letojanni is a municipality in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, with 2789 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Letojanni located 50 km southwest of Messina directly on the east coast of Sicily. The municipality covers an area of 6.8 km ². The main occupation of the inhabitants is tourism.
The neighboring municipalities are Castelmola, Forza d'Agro, Gallodoro, Mongiuffi Melia and Taormina.
History
Letojanni was originally a part of the community Gallodoro. 1952 Letojanni received autonomy.
Attractions
The parish church of San Giuseppe in 1908 by a devastating earthquake in 1929 and rebuilt. To place the Isola Bella belongs on the beach of Taormina.
