List of municipalities in the Eastern Cape
The list of communities in the Eastern Cape leads all municipalities (Local Municipalities ) on in South Africa's Eastern Cape.
The Eastern Cape Province is divided into seven districts ( District Municipalities ) with a total of 38 gminas. In the districts, there are two direct the district administration under standing areas ( District Management Areas, DMAs ). DMAs are characterized by their very low population and often belong to national parks or nature reserves. The DMAs in the Eastern Cape are the Aberdeen Plain in the Cacadu District and the Mountain Zebra National Park in the district of Chris Hani. The DMAs in the province have an average of about four people per ten square kilometers. The metropolitan municipalities are the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality with the city of Port Elizabeth as the center and the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality of East London.
