Manubach

Manubach is a municipality in the district Mainz -Bingen, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the community association Rhein-Nahe, which has its headquarters in the town of Bingen am Rhein.

Since 2003 Manubach is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.

The wine Manubach is in a Seitentälchen of the Middle Rhine between Koblenz and Bingen on the Rhine.

History

Besides Steeg, Bacharach and Oberdiebach the place belonged to the " Four Valleys area," which was already in the 10th century belonged to the Archdiocese of Cologne. Viniculture
