Oberheimbach

Oberheimbach is a municipality in the district Mainz -Bingen, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the community association Rhein-Nahe, which has its headquarters in the town of Bingen am Rhein.

Geography

Oberheimbach is between Koblenz and Bad Kreuznach in the valley of the home stream, about two kilometers from Niederheimbach. To Oberheimbach includes the residential space bar mill.

History

Heimbach was first mentioned in a document dated 14 June 983, the Emperor Otto II the Archbishop of Mainz Willigis his rights under the spell of Bingen confirmed.

Parish council
