Wackernheim is a municipality in the district Mainz -Bingen, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Heidenheim am Rhein.

Geography

Geographical location

The community is located west of Mainz, in a tributary of the Rhine between the nature reserves Rabenkopf, Layenhof and Mainzer Berg. To Wackernheim includes the dwelling-place " house cousin ".

History
