Mont-sur-Rolle

Mont- sur-Rolle is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Geography

Mont- sur-Rolle is at 473 m above sea level. M., above Rolle, 12 km north-east of the district main town Nyon ( straight line ). The wine village stretches along the southern part of the Vaud Cote, in a scenic location around 100 m above the lake level of Lake Geneva.

History

Mont- sur-Rolle is mentioned as Mont -le- Grand for the first time in 996, and later appeared the Latinized name burgum de Montibus. Attractions
