Montréal-la-Cluse

Montréal- la- Cluse is a commune in the French department of Ain, in the Rhône -Alpes.

Geography

Montréal- la- Cluse is located at 500 m above sea level. M., about ten kilometers southwest of the city Oyonnax (air line). The village is located in the northern Bugey, in the plain northwest of Lac de Nantua in the Jura, at the called the gateway to the Juraquertal cluse de Nantua.

History

The earliest settlement to the present municipality was Sénoche and was located in the east of the Talniederung In the current Montréal. Economy and infrastructure
