Monzernheim

Monzernheim is a municipality in the district Alzey- Worms in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Westhofen.

Geography

As a wine-growing village Monzernheim located in the largest wine-growing district of Germany and driving middle of the wine growing region of Rheinhessen.

History

By the end of the 18th century belonged to the Palatine Monzernheim Oberamt Alzey. During the so-called Frenchman times it was the seat of a canton in the Mairie Bechtheim, who was part of the department Thunder Mountain. To Mairie Monzernheim also stupid home belonged ( now the town Hochborn ).
