Partenheim

Partenheim is a municipality in the district Alzey- Worms in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Woerrstadt.

Geography

Partenheim is a wine village in the heart of Rheinhessen. The distance to the cities of Mainz, Bingen, Bad Kreuznach and Alzey, is 20 kilometers, approximately half an hour.

The areas of the municipality are used as follows: 620 ha for agriculture, viticulture 162 acres, building surfaces and transport and green spaces 59 ha

The following municipalities border on Partenheim, they are listed clockwise starting in the north: Jugenheim, Saulheim, Vendersheim and Wolfsheim.

History

Castle Wallbrunn

Partenheim was in a deed over a vineyard from the " marca pattenheimo " ( district Partenheim ) first documented in the year 757.

Later there was a fief of the archdiocese of Trier a Ganerbschaft the Lords of Partenheim and barons of Wallbrunn.

The local council in Partenheim consists of 16 council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Transport links

The community Partenheim with two stops tethered ( Partenheim main road and Partenheim bridge ) to the public transport network of the Rhine -Nahe - transport interconnection and is approached ( " RegioLinie " ) regularly from the ORN line 650 of Mainz (37 minutes to Mainz main station with connection to the Rhine - Main Transport Association ) about Stadecken -Elsheim (7 minutes to Stadecken honor pillar, with connection to " RegioLinie " 640 Ingelheim and Nieder-Olm ) to Sprendlingen (up Sprendlingen travels station) 15 minutes.
