Moutnice

Moutnice ( German Mautnitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 19 km east of the center of Brno and belongs to Okres Brno- venkov.

Geography

Moutnice is located in the foothills of Steinitzer forest in the Thaya Schwarza valley floor and is crossed by the creek creek Moutnický. To the north rises the Vinohrádky (218 m), in the southeastern Strážky (290 m ) and southwest of Klín (213 m).

Neighboring towns are Rozářín, Žatčany and Třebomyslice in the north, Nesvačilka in the northeast, Těšany in the east, in the southeast Šitbořice, Nový Dvůr in the south, Boudky, Zeleňák and Nosislav in the southwest, and Blučina Jalovisko in the west and Měnín in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Moutnice place in the year 1298th Znata of Lomnitz presented together with his three sons in 1335 the greater part of Moutnice the Monastery of St.. Anna with the proviso that the income from the village first, should serve at Brno as dowry to his daughter, the prioress Elizabeth of Lomnitz. Five strokes of the village belonged to Ulrich Pustka of Strabenitz, that they sold in 1359 to the Albrecht brothers and Zdenko Sternberg († 1359 ). As the owner of another one and a half Huben 1397 Przibik of Zarussek was called. These shares later acquired the nunnery. Between 1528 and 1548 the village was bonded together with Těšany and Šitbořice to Henry of Lomnitz, after the monastery replaced the pledge again. After the dissolution of the monastery during the Josephine reforms Moutnice became part of the dominion Klobouky. 1784 was built by compartmentalization of the manorial court Mautnitz north of the village Mautnitz the settlement Rosalie field. In the following year a Lokalie was established with funds from the religious fund in Mautnitz again, which included a Catholic school. Besides Mautnitz the villages Tieschan, Rosalie field and Neudorf and Neuhof Meier courtyards, Galdhof, Carlshof and Henriettenhof were gepfarrt after Mautnitz. After the abolition of patrimonial Moutnice / Mautnitz and Rozářín / Rosalie field formed in 1850 two independent congregations in the District Commission Auspitz. In 1949 the municipalities were assigned to the new Okres Židlochovice. In 1951 the merger of Rozářín and Moutnice to a community Moutnice was. Since the abolition of the Okres Židlochovice in 1961 Moutnice belongs to Okres Brno- venkov.

Moutnice is the seat of the agricultural corporation Agro MONET, which manages most of the fields in Moutnice and the surrounding towns. Most of the inhabitants of the village to work in Brno.
