Nikita Kucherov
Nikita Igorewitsch Kucherov (Russian: Никита Игоревич Кучеров; * 17 June 1993 in Maikop ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since 2013 in the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League under contract and comes in parallel for their AHL farm team Syracuse Crunch for use.

Career
Nikita Kucherov began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its junior team Krasnaya Armia Moscow he first ran aground in the 2009/10 season in the newly established multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. He was then in the third round as the 60th overall player selected in the KHL Junior Draft 2010 by his own club CSKA Moscow, because this was not one of the players themselves could exclude from the Draft of the club but it wanted to keep the player. In the 2010/11 season the winger made his debut for the first team of HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League in which he gave two assists in nine games. With the junior team Krasnaya Armia he won the parallel Kharlamov Cup, the championship of the MHL, at the All-Star Game, he also was able to participate. In addition, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2011 in the second round than a total of 58 players from the Tampa Bay Lightning. In July 2012, his running contract was terminated by the CSKA and Kucherov moved to North America to the Remparts de Québec from the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec.
On November 25, 2013 Kucherov made his debut in the NHL and came right with the first shot on his first NHL goal.
Internationally
For Russia Kucherov took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2011, where he won the bronze medal with his team. With eleven goals and ten templates in seven games he was leading scorer and the top scorer of the tournament and was also elected as its best strikers.
