Oregon House of Representatives

The House of Representatives of Oregon ( Oregon House of Representatives ) is the lower house of the Oregon Legislative Assembly, the legislature of the U.S. state of Oregon.

The chamber of parliament is made up of 60 members, representing an electoral district respectively. Each of these units includes a fixed average rate of 57,000 inhabitants. Deputies are elected for two -year terms; the original limit of three terms in office was abolished in 2002.

The conference hall of the House of Representatives is located together with the State Senate in Oregon State Capitol in Salem capital.

Composition

As a stalemate resulted in the election in November 2010, the Democrat Arnie roblan and Republican Bruce Hanna share the office of Speaker. Leader of the Democrats is Dave Hunt, among the Republicans Kevin Cameron has held this position.
