Perly-Certoux

Perly is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.

The parish includes the villages and Perly Perly.

History

Perly 1124 was mentioned as Perliacum, Perly as Sartoux.

The community was located on the historic route between Geneva and Lyon. In 1536 it was conquered by the Bernese, before it passed as part of the commune of Saint -Julien -en- Genevois 1567 Savoy. 1816 were the villages of Perly and Perly over to the Canton of Geneva. Here, the municipality was divided, while Perly and Perly now belonged to Switzerland, Saint -Julien -en- Genevois was a part of France.
