PowerDrive Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles.

Company History

The company from the London Borough of Wood Green began in 1954 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Powerdrive. David Gottlieb was the body designers. 1957 production ended. Another source gives the construction period with 1955-1958. Coronet Cars took over the design for the construction of their own vehicles.

Rolling stock

The only model was a microcar. It was a tricycle with a single rear wheel. A two-cylinder two -stroke engine of the British Anzani engine company with 322 cc displacement and 15 hp was mounted in the rear and powered the rear wheel. The gearbox had three gears. The open body was made of aluminum and provided space for three people. The original price was 412 pounds.
