Pregny -Chambésy ( officially until 1960 called Pregny ) is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.
History
The parish includes the village Pregny ( 1113 mentioned as Priniacum ) and the hamlets Chambésy -Dessus -Dessous and Chambésy ( 1277 mentioned as Sambesie ) as well as the Quartier Roilbot.
1353 to 1601 belonged to Pregny Savoy, with stop of the Bernese interlude 1536-1567. Then it went over to France. 1815 came the church to the Canton of Geneva.
