Roggenhouse

Rye House (German: Roggenhausen ) is a commune with 479 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Upper Rhine valley in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. The inhabitants call themselves les Roggenhousiens.

Geography

The community Rye House is located on the Rhine - Rhône Canal, about 20 kilometers northeast of Mulhouse on the brink of Harth forest.

Neighboring communities of Rye House are Fessenheim in the northeast, Blodelsheim in the east, Rumersheim -le-Haut in the southeast, Munchhouse in the south and Hirtzfelden in the northwest.
