The Salhöhe (including room height ) is a Swiss Pass at an altitude of 779 m above sea level. M. and a maximum gradient of 10.5%. He connects the villages Kienberg (SO) and Erlinsbach ( AG). The Salhöhe forms the cantonal border between the cantons of Aargau and Solothurn. As the shortest connection between Aarau and Basel this pass is still operating only moderately. From the pass, which is located in close proximity to the clinic Barmelweid, you have a beautiful view of the hills of the Aargau Jura.
